Register Now for "Signing with Young Children"
02/21/12 - 05/15/12 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
This 6-week sign language class is for parents, grandparents, relatives, neighbors, childcare providers, and any adult who needs to communicate in sign language with a young child. The focus is on vocabulary and basic sign language communication used in the day-to-day lives of deaf and hard of hearing infants/toddlers and their families.
Your instructor will be CJ DuBois, who is Deaf and the parent of two children.
LEVEL 1
Tuesdays, February 21– March 27, 2012
6:00 to 7:30 PM It is recommended that students have a sign language book. The book "Signing for Kids" is available at CCHD for $13 and can be purchased at time of registration.
LEVEL 2
Tuesdays, April 3 - May 15, 2012
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Participants must have already taken "Signing with Kids - Level 1".
Classes are all held at the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness
