American Sign Language I

If you've been curious about American Sign Language, here's your chance to learn basic vocabulary, use of expression and fingerspelling. Plus, you'll be introduced to Deaf Culture. Instructor: Cookie Roang.
Classes will be held on Monday evenings, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, September 20 through Decembe 6 at the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness.
Cost is $95 per student. The book, "Learning American Sign Langauge" will be used and is available at CCHD for $62.

ASL Follow-Up (Formerly ASL III)

Continue refining your signing skills through this conversational sign course where you will learn how to use classifiers, ASL idioms and other conversational concepts. You must have completed ASL I and ASL II sign courses at CCHD or elsewhere to attend this class. Instructor: Katie Voss.
Classes will be held on Monday evenings, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, September 20 through December 6 at the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness.
Cost is $95 per student. The text to be used will be discussed during the first night's class. A textbook is not required for this course.

American Sign Language II

If you have completed a beginning sign course at CCHD or elsewhere, this class is for you. You will develop vocabulary and basic conversation skills, and learn more about how to interact with Deaf adults. Instructor: Katie Voss.
