The Milwaukee Walk4Hearing is part of a nationwide effort to make hearing loss an issue of national concern and to demonstrate to the community how many people — of all ages – are actually impacted by hearing loss.  In Wisconsin alone, more than 500,000 people are directly affected, and in the US, more than 36 million people have trouble hearing.

 

When you walk on the CCHD Walk4Hearing team, you are adding your voice to the cause and helping to spread the word about how many people are affected by hearing loss and face communication barriers and access to information and services on a daily basis.  You will also be directly supporting the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness and helping us raise money to support the Center’s state-of-the-art programs and services for children and adults throughout Wisconsin who are challenged by hearing loss.  

 

 

You can also visit www.walk4hearing.org and set up your own team website and designate CCHD as the organization you want to help support. Then, you can have the fun of setting up your own fundraising goals, and still help raise money directly for CCHD.
