Below is a list of ongoing volunteer opportunities at the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. If you would like more specific information about any of these openings, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
Outreach
Help CDHH staff our booth at various health fairs and community outreach events. Talk to people interested in our services, answer questions, pass out brochures. May also involve set up and take down of our booth. Dates and times will vary. Must be friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills. Must have transportation to and from events.
Greeter
Watch the front door to let people in for classes, workshops and meetings. Must be reliable and friendly. Help needed weekdays and evenings; several different days and times available. Must be at least 18 years old.
Special Events
Help organize a fundraiser, solicit donations, sell tickets or volunteer at the event. There are several events throughout the year. Must be reliable and outgoing. For events, must be at least 17 years old.
