To become a regular
CDHH volunteer, prior to being assigned any volunteer opportunities,
you must:
- Complete a volunteer application
- Sign a confidentiality agreement
- Meet with the Volunteer Manager for an interview
and orientation
- Pass a criminal background check, as required by law
for working around children
Individual volunteer opportunities may have specific age
or skill requirements and will be clearly indicated for each
opening.
CDHH also welcomes volunteer teams from area businesses and
organizations for special events or projects. In these cases,
the standard application process is generally waived. Some
of the businesses and organizations whose employees have volunteered
their time to help the Center include:

- Bostik Findley
- Congregation Shalom
- JC Penney
- Johnson Controls
- Lowe’s
- Manpower
- National Insurance Services
